Another year older, and hopefully more wise/
another step nearer my eventual demise/
memories, like postcards, we yearn to look upon/
a chance to ponder on friends long gone/
history that has happened, we gaze to the distance/
and reach for our destiny at the futures' insistence/
so yeah it's my birthday.
